Old track here, must be 15 years I think. Maybe the first time I cowrote a song and moved away from a traditional format for a 3 min pop song. Since then I have maintained an interest in weaving grooves and acoustic guitar together.

Never finished, it is indeed an early working mix, with quite a few file errors. Listenable though. I wonder how this one would have turned out. Jon has main vox, me the rest of it I think, certainly the electric guitar and bass. Did we have something here?

Started with Luc and myself jamming. .. Lucius on rhythm Spanish guitar, myself with lead on the Ovation, Beth has the vox, co-wrote the lyrics as well with myself. I shared production with Luc. A real collective effort this one. Mellow and summer like, I hope.

No idea how to classify this track...some bits of it I really like , some bits very unsure. Still mixing those beats this time with electric guitar. Went big on 90's kitsch sounds here as well :-)

Another unfinished cut, with Beth on vox, some lyrics and myself on lyrics, instruments, recording and mixing. Sometimes better left there. Can't see what else to do but master it really.

Friday Fun Working Mix 4

Beth, Luc and myself recorded this live on the open studio mike last year and just found it again. I guess it's really a demo of a track we had been playing with for a while. Just stereo so limited to mastering it. One day we'll finish it...  :-)

Jon already had the song written on his guitar. We decided to flesh it out his top vox with main guitar and myself on bass and guitar 2 on the chorus. I did the drum track in Reason and mixed and mastered it. Thought he had a quality choon there myself.

The World Stopped Today.

Musician since classical guitar lessons on my 7th birthday back a million years ago. I have got a lot from producing other muso's and bands in the last 15 years and continue to work and promote different styles and muso's. Influences are from Zep to Beethoven, via Tong and Deadmau5. Shows in the wide range in my choonnz I think.

I have been running a home studio starting out with a Tascam 4 track cassette [look them up ;-)] ending up with a Fostex 16 track 1" tape and an awesome Soundcraft Spirit Folio 20-8-2. Been running a digital studio for the last 15 years - SONAR 7 PRO and old Reason 4 with plenty of Waves plug ins. Use Soundforge 11 or Wavelabs to master. Currently using a Focusrite 6i6 as my audio hardware. My Ovation Balladeer ,40 years old is my pride and constant joy in my guitar collection.
