These are music samples from Offender 2 (World War B: War On Rabbits). It's a game that I am developing, and subsequently created an elaborate soundtrack for.

Although (to add to the humor) the game is often mixed with very old public domain samples (think 1950's) the music here is stuff I created on my own (from scrap -- scoring/composing and everything). I'm very happy with how it turned out.

I also did all the voice acting for it.

I wanted something different than what you would expect to hear with cartoons (the game features a lot of traditional animation/cartooning). It ended up being very unique, and definitely suiting for the alien invasion theme.

Offender 2 Soundrack & Samples

This song is a good demonstration of where I am going with the alien's side of sounds/music. I wrote a score for the bunnies side, it's a lot happier, and "re-adapted" it to sound spooky/mysterious for the aliens. So both atmosphere types basically use the same theme.
I wanted this (the alien's music) to lean more in the direction of sci-fi horror. It's working out beautifully.
The requirement is that they all must loop perfectly. It doesn't cut off at the end.

Evil Alien Base Loop

This is part of an animation sequence/event. When the user "accidentally" blows up the tutorial. 
It is a joke, but I made this portion super dramatic because I think the fact that it "takes itself so serious" adds to the humor.

Monumental Blow (We Lost The Tutorial That Day)

This is a song loop for the mini-game that you find when you go to the top-ten/credits section of the game. You play a little rabbit (from the first Offender), and you must save all your friends who are stuck in random names in the credits. Avoid all aliens because you will lose your friends, and die. 
When you win (if you win) you are awarded a retry for each bunny you save. These retries carry over to the main game, and this helps because you can die a lot. The game is heavily state driven, and your progress is saved for next time you play...
Again, I wanted this to be dark and spooky. It really works in context, because the bunny friends you save sound like little kids (cute high pitch voices). They will nag you a lot and comment on your navigation (if you're hard to follow). It's very absurd, and funny.

Abduction (The Top Ten Mini-Game)

This is part of an in-game event. When a day is beat (end of level) then this plays along with the transition into the tally screen. It works with the animation (the piano sounds are in sync with general movements).

"Day Beat" Transition

These are the musical segments for the "Day Beat", or end of level, transitions from Offender 2.
The character dialogue has been removed, but there is plenty going on.
The high pitched humming of the game's theme is from a butterfly that shows up occasionally in the background of these animation.

Offender 2 "Day Beat" Transitions

This is the intro (loop) soundtrack for a new ARG I'm building.
It is going to be done in HTML5 this time (canvas mostly).
It is also going to be an extension of Tetrageddon, and serve as a "dark side of the moon" experience (like the dark side of Tetrageddon Games). 
The setting will be a dystopian internet future, and you get to know it by saving someone. I don't want to say too much, so I'll stop now... :)

Making an ARG (at this point) serves a number of purposes, as well as making the experience broader, for Tetrageddon Games. It will tie the project together very beautifully... Aside from adding a ton of mystery/allure to it.

Tehran-born and London-based, Ash Koosha creates music that is stripped of genre, style and conventional structure. His training in classical music and his interest in computer music from a young age has equipped him with necessary tools to construct, break, form and deform at the same time. The result is sound that is fragmented, unearthly yet natural, collage-like yet seamless. 

His latest work, GUUD is a sonic experience, where classical variations and harmonies meet manipulated sample grains. It is a field, a ‘place where he deals with scientific and psychological questions’ and where he manipulates his senses by creating a synesthetic experience. He understands emotional and physical limits and pushes those emotions to the extreme without the extreme effect, as he simulates the sound of exploding speakers or collapsing percussion structures in a listenable frequency. It is by treating sound as physical matter that he can then apply a simulation of physical forces to it: shattering, positioning, joining, liquifying or pressuring. 

One of the ideas that Ash has introduced in GUUD and will be further discovered in his future projects, is ‘nano-composition’. Born out of his obsession with scale and based on ideas explored in nanotechnology and quantum realm, nano-composition can be defined as creating a composition, based on the sonic behaviour of fractal patterns that exist within a stretched or rescaled sound wave but without pitch alteration. It is visually treating grains in wave forms as particles and create sonic ‘events’ within that wave form. Although these events are controlled and structured by the composer, their randomness and internal chaos offers an element of singularity and rarity. It is a deconstruction of what is conventionally and sonics-wise ‘good’ music. GUUD is ‘good’ without the perfection of perfectly round ‘o’s.
