Matias Fernandez, mejor conocido como Distant, es DJ y productor de Córdoba, Argentina, quien en sus últimos lanzamientos ha logrado formar parte de sellos de renombre como Detriti Records, Khemia Records y Soil, además de ser fundador de TERRA FURIA y de Shtcby Records.

Distant presenta "Carmesí Diabla" en Soil Records: un trabajo enorme en cuanto a su calidad, compuesto de seis pistas originales y un extenso paquete de remixes de la original 'Carmesí Diabla' por parte de Randstad, The Mover, Melania. y Max Durante.

Estamos muy agradecidos con Matias por permitirnos ser parte de su gran lanzamiento en Soil con la presentación del estreno de 'Livrie Bargee', la quinta pista de este trabajo, una muestras más del extraordinario trabajo que es esta nueva referencia.

Today in our program there is a live session recorded by Novosibirsk musician Roman Craft.
Roman is a designer and racer of RC boats. He teaches children everything he knows about this craft. Music fills his space as he works and travels. We asked Roman a few questions.
 
1. Which artist has influenced you the most? 
Shed is spinning most often on my turntable. I love his tunes. 
 
2. What new projects/releases with your participation are expected in the near future? 
I would like to give an answer but on true we have a ridiculous number off EP, albums and tracks made in studio with a friends and it is all waiting for something. So, there are only plans but nothing more. In other hand I release my own music then I think it’s done instantly. First album has a great name “How Long Can You Go with Me” and this is all about it. 
 
3. Which artists/labels is more relevant to you now? 
Actress, STL, Mathew Jonson, Redshape, Donato Dozzy, Legowelt, Vril, Marco Shuttle, Grand River and Steffi, DIAL, Hanagasumi, Born Free records, Mistress Recordings, early L.I.E.S. records for sure. Sometimes it is hard to explore a relevant styles and genres of your own and somehow you focused only on really touching you tracks from the past. It’s made sense because of structure of your thoughts and feelings. They are all has been kept and stored in the head until you start doing something. I can say that I am old-fashioned person and this can be found in my music. 
 
4. What inspires you now to create music? 
All that music that I listen to. New gear for the studio experiments are inspires to. They inner mashine algorithms tells that to do, in particular moment they start to do all work instantly and independently without you.

Jetztwelt is a label created in the early days of 2020 by Benedikt Schmidt to house his entire artistic heritage, which is not only based on his musical work, but also combines other disciplines such as literature, as Benedikt also uses this medium to publish his books of poetry, as well as artistic impressions of artist friends.

Benedikt Schmidt's most prolific and longest-lived musical project is Cellarkalt, an alias under which Benedikt has been working since the late 1990s. Under this nickname he started experimenting in the basement of his parents' house with the creation of strange sounds, recording experimental tracks and sketches directly onto cassette tapes. The choice of instruments and toys may have changed over the years, but Cellarkalt's approach remains the same: Cellarkalt is DADA and DIY. It is poetic and imperfect, strange and raw, sometimes even psychedelic. Cellarkalt speaks through the noise of machines.

"Neues Licht an unbestimmtem Morgen" marks the beginning of a series of Cellarkalt releases on Jetztwelt. The album features 10 tracks in which the artist explores from different sonic approaches his aptitude to create from corrosive atmospheres to other spaces in which he plays suggestively with the listener's mind.

Release date: August 5th, 2022.
