"Paracosm 3" is the most personal chapter yet in Pueblo Vista’s ongoing journey through sound and memory. Released on Paul’s wedding anniversary, the album serves as both an ode to the birth of his inner world and a reflection on the profound loss of his wife ~ the spark that gave rise to this paracosm. Spanning 15 tracks, including four with vocals, the record expands far beyond lofi conventions, weaving hip hop, drum’n’bass, breakbeat, and unexpected influences into a rich, emotional tapestry. Smooth atmospheres and cinematic textures balance with restless rhythms, creating a duality that mirrors grief and growth. Paul’s closest friend, @lampros_mak (aka Milo Maven), played a pivotal role in the instrumentalization, giving shape and depth where Paul’s limited instrumental skills left space for collaboration. The result is Pueblo Vista’s most ambitious and emotionally layered release to date ~ a deeply human album that drifts between pain, memory, and transcendence.

Based in Zurich (Switzerland), Idealist already produces music for more than a decade. But only in the previous five years he took the next steps and signed tracks to labels like Echocord, Pro-Tez and Berg Audio and focused on building up his own imprint Idealistmusic with its sublabel Details Series. Both of which gained him wide international recognition. In September 2016, Idealist released his anticipated debut album „Firewood Street“, a deep manifestation of the sound of his earlier tracks which might invoke vivid memories of dance music's glorious past in between Robert Hood, Basic Channel and some unpolished Chicago roughness.
The recent success and attention lead him to gigs across Europe, Canada, US and Georgia, where he played in clubs like Tresor, Batofar, or the Culture Box and shared the decks with DJs like Delano Smith or Fred P.

As Winter takes shape and the chill of November firms its grip on the Westcoast I wanted to share with you a little warmth from the hills of Moors in Southwest England. Billy Hesmondhalgh came to me with a purposeful album of music he created specially for Silent Season. Dawnlit Passage is his first release of lovely deep techno which he's been working on the past year. Adam Gonsalves at Telegraph Mastering gave it the final touches.

@Phonatic lernte das Institut fuer Zukunft schon kennen und lieben, als das Projekt noch ein Gerücht, ein Mythos, alles, aber kein Technoclub, war. Über die Jahre hat er immer wieder im Institut gespielt und mit anderen Crews für eine Nacht kooperiert. Heute führt im Zusammenhang mit Phonatic natürlich kein Weg an seiner “Headroom“ Reihe vorbei, die vor allem in der „Paloma Bar“ und in der „Klappe“ stattfindet – 2 Jahre Erfahrung haben gezeigt, dass die kleineren Kontexte immer noch einen besonderen Vibe auslösen. Generell erfüllt sich Phonatic mit der Reihe auch eigene Fanträume. Mit dabei waren z.B. schon Efdemin, Lawrence, XDB, Barbara Preisinger, Nick Höppner, Kate Miller, DJ Pete, Carsten Jost u.a.
Sein Mix für Radio IfZ ist wie immer in erster Linie von neu entdeckter Musik inspiriert. Das darf aber gern auch alter Kram sein, der den Test der Zeit bestanden hat: „Wichtig ist mir ein roter Faden, den m.E viele, vor allem jüngere DJs, bei ihrem Fokus auf den angesagten Eklektizismus zu leicht aus den Augen verlieren. Divers spielen, aber dabei eine zusammenhängende Geschichte erzählen, das ist die große Kunst an der Sache.“ 
Mit dem Fokus auf Deepness  – egal  im Groove, in der Melodie, oder in der Dynamik ist Phonatic als DJ groß geworden und sein Sound beweist das nach all den Jahren immernoch. Aber hört selbst.
