Lynn Nandar Htoo debuts as her DJ moniker LnHD, delivering her provocative Southeast Asian experimental club dance EP titled SLAVE INSTINCTS in collaboration with Myanmar visual artists Gabriel Htoo & Alco Htoo.

SLAVE INSTINCTS marks a bold departure from her previous album Jamadevi, delving into the pulsating world of Southeast Asian experimental club dance music, and mirroring her defiance and resilience as a political exile from her homeland. SLAVE INSTINCTS presents a searing critique of global hypocrisy, juxtaposing the empty gestures of online political activism with the harsh realities of oppression and lost freedom. 

Each track pulsates with the spirit of her DJ days in Yangon, capturing the euphoria of techno party culture and the defiant spirit where party becomes refuge from political strife. SLAVE INSTINCTS becomes a powerful plea, a bold declaration, and an urgent ultimatum, compelling listeners to confront the global hypocrisies of performative digital activism and recognize the true impact of systemic oppression.

SYNCOPATED ETHER DREAMS is the collaborative release from LnHD and rEmPiT g0dDe$$, first presented as a live audiovisual spatial sound performance at Radialsystem, Berlin during their CTM Festival debut.

The EP moves through the heavy currents of dub and percussion-driven electronic sounds, layered with field recordings and Southeast Asian tonalities forming a liminal zone where ritual transmutes into rave.

Drawing from diasporic memory and embodied resistance, their interdisciplinary practices refract through the strobe-lit prism of club culture.
