I worked this up last night. A fun challenge! This song is in the style of Buddy Fo and his group and was recommended to me by a friend I play Hawaiian music with. These harmonies remind me of the Four Freshmen! Maybe Buddy Fo and his group should have been named the Fo Freshmen? :)

I love singing rounds with other people, and this is one of the most beautiful rounds I've ever heard, for as many as 8 parts. Each of the 8 parts was recorded with my own voice; no Autotune or pitch correction was used whatsoever. This round is 100% public domain.

Autumn Tide

This is my interpretation of a beautiful instrumental called "I Dreamed there was No War," off of the Eagles' 2007 album Long Road Out of Eden. It was composed by Glenn Frey, who will be sorely missed. I can't agree with the title more! If only that dream would come true!

This piece was originally recorded using electric guitar and synth strings, but I decided to try it out using my piano and the synth strings on my keyboard. I tried my best to make the piano sound like an electric guitar and also included some of my own emotional touches.

I apologize for not lining up the piano and keyboard tracks completely; it was hard to do that because I never play the song the same way twice! :) However, I believe that in the end, it's all about feeling the music, and I certainly felt it, as you can hear at the very end!

Eagles - I Dreamed There Was No War Cover

Here's my multitrack version of the beautiful Irish folk song "The Parting Glass," most recently covered by Ed Sheeran. This version is in the style of a female folk group called the Wailin' Jennys. There are a couple mistakes, but hey, what can you do? :D Hope you like it!

Here's an a cappella rendition of a beautiful Irish/Celtic (don't know which) folk song, "Foreign Lander." I first got exposed to this song when I heard it sung live by GQ, a young women's barbershop quartet from Baltimore, and later discovered the version by Red Molly. My rendition contains elements of both versions. Hope you all like it!
