See It In Your Eyes is about a pointless pursuit and the fool we can make ourself by holding on. There is however a great freedom of eventuality of letting go.

The self-reflective character in See It In Your Eyes ends with a realisation and acceptance that it’s all now clearly unachievable. By extending the final chase he ruins his odds of keeping it, tenfold. He puts a lid on it, packs his bags and lets out an honest sigh “I am the fool, I understand, I hope you can allow, I just wanna hang out”.
