Lo Fidelity Music and Whatevr Fanzine proudly present Alina Valentina's latest single, "Another Life." The collaboration showcases Valentina's distinctive blend of synth pop and synthwave, offering a captivating and emotive musical experience. 

"Another Life" is a testament to Valentina's unique style, featuring dreamy melodies and poignant lyrics. The single reflects the shared commitment of both labels to support innovative music and nurture emerging talent. 

What makes this project truly unique, is that the single comes on 7” vinyl, and is a part of the 10th issue of Whatevr, and is to be found exclusively in 900 copies of the magazine. 

Inspired by the music, Whatevr Fanzine's team produced and directed a short movie, where they bring you to their world of 'provocative aestehtic' accompanied by the music made for this collaboration. 

Available on all major streaming platforms, "Another Life" invites listeners to explore a sonic journey that transcends genres. The accompanying short movie can be seen on Whatevr Fanzine's website.

I recorded a set based on what I played at Baroeg Open Air 09/09/'23

Recorded at home, based on my set for the opening of Museumnacht in The Grey Space in the Middle, The Hague 07/10/'23

While preparing my set, I recorded a 1-hour test round with my selection. As I didn’t record the live-set itself, I decided to put this trial online

Alina Valentina is a The Hague based music producer drawing heavily from retro soundtrack and video game music. With her love for analog synthesizers she creates immersive, neo-surrealist “Lynchian” sound explorations reminiscent of modern composers like John Carpenter as well as more pop contemporaries Antoni Maiovvi, Lebanon Hanover and Molly Nilsson. Influenced by industrial music, synth pop and dark wave, her work blends camp sensibilities with melancholic and detached vocal delivery
