Here it is! The 15th episode from The Age of Aquarius and this time my Special Guest was Leon S Kemp!

Music has been a passion for Leon since he was small child, rollerskating and then breakdancing ... He was born in Iceland 1972, but lived in Florida for the first 15 years  then moved back to Iceland !! There he started DJ'ing, started to play at clubs when he was 17 and was going to London to buy records and clubbing!!
At 19, Leon took his first trip to Ibiza, that's when he found his real love of deep house music !! He had a child in 2007 and stopped playing but was always listening, Leon started playing again in 2018 and in 2019 He started the recordslabel Nordic Voyage  with his cousin Bjorn Salvador ... life is better with deep house music in it everyday !!!".

I started of with my own set and played music from great artists such as Doctors on decks, Facundo Mohr, Tim Engelhardt,  Far distance and Kamilo Sanclemente , Ramy Mishricky,  AFFKT,  Sam Hopgood , Luke Alessi, Daarin Epsilon & Fur Coat released on the following labels ZEHN , All Day I dream , Univack , Stil Voor Talent , Mobilee, Selador and many more..

On Feb 16 2023, we had our second Wayward event of the year. Events at this time of year can sometimes be hit or miss, as some folks are trying to carry forward healthy New Year’s resolutions, while others get caught up with yet another Hallmark holiday. But that definitely wasn’t the case this night! 

We had a solid turnout from the very beginning until the very end, with a packed dance floor and good vibes as far as the eye could see! Every one of my guest DJs (Count, Ober, and Gav) were completely dialed in, with excellent track selections and flawless mixing.

This was my closing set from that night. I’m quite pleased with it, and I hope you enjoy it as well ❤️

Wayward at F8 // Feb 2023

Hello, dear friends. 
I'm humbled to finally bring to your attention this very dear to my heart project which was conceived around the end of December last year. It is intended to give a certain perspective on a fully organized event (or more likely a series of conceptually similar events) offering an experience for those who strive for TRUE musical experiences rich in sounds, melodies, varied and nuanced feelings and all those important elements that make the music valuable and truly memorable. 
Anyhow, the final vision of this extended musical journey was recorded on the International DJ-Day this year, honoring the occasion while also giving in to this big passion and side-profession of mine. During the process of finalizing the final look of the set, I decided to split it in several sections which I'll share one by one in the following days, something that would probably be more accessible and easier to be savored and hopefully enjoyed.
The segments represents in some way a sonata structure form (as the classical term suggests) which in my opinion applies perfectly to a properly organized club night. So, here's the first part of this special edition of "Enchanting Dreamtales" offering one "Slow Burning Introduction" or the opening and warm-up section of the experience. Enjoy!

Lenz is an electronic duo formed by Irish DJ & producer (DJ Joma) and German vocalist, songwriter (Moon Aton). Working together since 2020, they have enjoyed several successful releases to date on labels such as Colour & Pitch, Personal Belongings, 3Bridge Records, Nordic Voyage Recordings, M-Sol Records, Suprematic Recordings, Nicksher Music and Be Adult Music (Ibiza). With a string of releases already scheduled for 2022, it promises to be a bright future for Lenz.

Our guest on the show this month is Nicolas Navarro. Born in Buenos Aires and now based in Bariloche, Patagonia, Nicolas is a DJ, producer and artist who has carved out a unique place in the electronic underground scene where he mixes a DJ session and an art exhibition called “La Galeria”. With his extravagant sound, he unites dark organic atmospheres together with additive grooves and rhythms. 

His music can be found on labels such as Dialtone Recordings, Striped Digital, 3rd Avenue and many others, including a track called “Mercurio” here on Loot Recordings. Check it out, it’s a spaced out, deep house track that was released this summer on “The Goods, Vol. 5.”

Ali’s love for electronic music began at an early age. As a child, he grew up listing to electronic bands and producers such as Tangerine Dream, Kraftwerk and Jean-Michel Jarre – all favorites of his father, who was a member of an electronic rock band in his younger days.
 
In 90s, Ali’s passion for electronic music grew deeper and his taste broadened as he became more exposed to different genres. His major influencers of the decade were alike of Enigma, Massive Attack, Robert Miles, Underworld and Plastikman. Discovering his passion and talent for deejaying, he self-thought himself and started playing in parties and clubs since early 2000s, both in his hometown of Tehran and Dubai.
 
Now, a resident of Canada, his taste for music has become entwined with the beauty of Vancouver and his sets are reflection of the melodic and celestial vibes found in nature.
