Standing beneath an ancient Sweet Chestnut tree in a woodland in Perthshire. The sounds of the wind in the leaves, the branches swaying and birdsong coming in and out of earshot. 

A concertina sketchbook was filled on location with the visual responses to the sounds and the place, a lasting memory of a moment in time.

Recording of the sea at high tide during the Wolf Moon in January 2022. Listening to the sound of the waves washing onto the raised pebble beach at Auchmithie on the East Coast of Scotland. The sounds of the wave crashes onto shore and the pebbles are dislodged by the power of the surge of water as the tide rescedes. The drawing is made in response to the sound and rhythm of the water, wind and stones.
