Ottawa Police are calling it a case like no other.

Following an lengthy investigation, they've laid 181 charges against an Ottawa man for allegedly cyber bullying, harassing and defaming 38 people across Canada, the U-S and the U-K.

A woman and her dog have lost their lives in a deadly blaze in the city's west end.

Fire crews were called to the scene on Penny Drive in the Michele Heights area around 7:30 last night, after receiving a call about heavy smoke and flames billowing from one of the row home units.

Around 50-thousand people gathered this morning at the National War Memorial to pay tribute to the men and women who served and sacrificed their lives for Canada.

And as CFRA's Alison Sandor reports, the ceremony was more poignant than ever in the wake of the deaths of Warrant Officer Patrice Vincent and Corporal Nathan Cirillo.

This month the Shepherds of Good Hope marks the 10th anniversary of a special building it runs.

The St. Andrew's Residence in Lowertown is an apartment building where staff help people with mental health issues or concurrent disorders learn how to live a more independent life.
