Paul Baguley and Sonya Bailey have been producing electronic music as ManMadeMan since 1994, operating in both the commercial and underground dance scenes. Their recording studio is often credited as The Tetrapod. 

Both artists came from completely different musical backgrounds. Paul was working with bands and Sonya was a wayward young girl with a keen ear. Coming together they partied hard at some of the most legendary events back in the early days, Cripps Barn, Dragon Fly, The Fridge, The Rocket and Space Hopper, the club that launched them. It was these experiences that inspired them to create music within a scene that was totally different from anything they had been involved in before. 

And so MMM was born: one EPS 16+ and away they went, until they had a live set. Whilst playing in the clubs where they had partied in earlier days, DJ Tsuyoshi Suzuki heard them and soon after they released their first single. Later they released their first album and followed this up by gigging around the world. This led to meeting loads of new people who were starting labels and soon they were releasing music globally on many record companies throughout the industry. They signed up with Concord International and found themselves supporting the Shaman in 1996. 

Together they worked alongside many producers and have played at a wide range of events across the world. In the summer of 1996, China Records approached them for an album deal. They were then working with the producer of many hit records including Bruce Willis' "Under The Boardwalk". This led to their releasing tracks alongside U2, Massive Attack, Fatboy Slim, The Chemical Brothers, Leftfield and many other renowned artists, and they found their music being remixed by chart-toppers such as KarmaSutra. 

Manmademan have been on the play-lists of Judge Jules, Pete Tong, Sasha, Digweed and other leading DJs. They have fiercely held on to their independence by retaining all rights to their publishing. 

Today the studio consists of a numerous analogue synths ( but not as many as they used to have ) as well as a plethora of virtual synths. Logic Pro is used for sequencing, a far cry from their old Atari. They have never given up, showing an unerring dedication to the scene. Hard to pigeonhole, they can turn their hand to many types of music but trance is where their hearts lie. 

As two of the original psychedelic trance pioneers, their extensive discography includes releases on prominent labels such as Phantasm, Flying Rhino, Matsuri, Transient, TIP.World, Flow, RTTS, Nano and Turbo Trance, amongst many others. In their words, the sound of ManMadeMan is described as “ a totally original style, a bit hard to define, but who cares - it’s positive, funky, psychedelic and musical all at the same time. It has a knack of totally igniting a dance floor while never retracing old steps and yet manages to always sound like manmademan.” 

By asserting total artistic control over independently produced albums, Paul and Sonya are free from the creative constraints imposed by most risk-averse labels seeking only what is safe and dependable.

Svess, aka Sophia arrived in London in 2003 and went to her first psytrance party shortly after...this was the moment when her love for psytrance began. Never ever had she heard or felt music in this powerful way before.

Sophia had a huge interest in music from an early age and is classically trained in violin, guitar and singing. For her, the composition, rhythm and detail of psytrance felt more right than anything else. After many years of blissful experiences on dance floors all over the world her desire to learn how to mix had grown very strong.

In early 2014 she started her journey as a progressive and full-on DJ, and very quickly become a frequently booked DJ on the London underground scene. She is a resident dj at the monthly London party SecretSoma and has also played at events such as Tribal Village, Chrysalid, Progressline, PsyDoors, Secret Soma, Triptonarnia, Alternative Waves, Made in Transylvania, Carry On Regardless, Parallel Universe, Elixir of Life, Freak Bazaar, Astral Circus, Noisily Festival, Solarafayre Festival and many more.

Svess plays groovy, deep and energetic full-on. In 2015 she started exploring the more psychedelic sounds of Twilight/Forest and this has become her much preferred sound.

Her sets will take you on a powerful energetic and hypnotic journey filled with the full spectrum of psychedelic emotions.

Biography:

Rikam (a.k.a Erik Amyot) is one of the leading psychedelic-trance DJs in North America. Since 1994, he’s also one of the most respected psychedelic-trance party organizers in Canada. Rikam is an electronic-music lover. He founded eXpérience productions in 1994 and Tech Safari in 2002. He first encountered techno, acid-house and acid-trance music in the early 1990s and started collecting his first vinyl records. He first discovered goa trance parties around 1994. Following his passion for this new music and new energy and his desire to share it, he produced the first psytrance, goa-trance and techno parties in Trois-Rivières (Quebec) with eXpérience productions.

After leaving Trois-Rivières for Montreal, as a party organizer in 1997 he transformed the electronic scene with some massive goa-trance parties made possible through eXperience productions, and collaborated extensively with French artist DJ Nivoc from Ascend records. Rikam has produced techno and trance events ranging from 500 to 3,500 attendees and enabled Quebecers to discover artists such as Tony Puglia, Sid Shanti, Tsuyoshi Suzuki, Andre from TIP, Bansi, Goa Gill, Mat BOOM!, and many others...

1999 was a turning point for Erik and his DJ career, as the promoter also became a renowned and appreciated DJ in the Canadian arena, playing at many large gatherings and parties like Universo Parallelo (Bresil) Shambhala festival (Canada), Arrival and Natura festivals (Quebec), Om festival (Ontario), Harvest festival (Ontario), Music of the spheres and TranSahara (Morocco), Jungle Lunatic (Mexico), Omni dance festival, and Orb festival in New York, Psyforia (Boston/USA), ... Rikam has also played with Infected Mushroom at the famous Aria nightclub in Montreal!

In 2003, with the Tech Safari team, he organized the first international outdoor psytrance festival in Canada: Eclipse Summer Trance Festival. Only one year later, Rikam and the Tech Safari collective created a new series of parties called “Amazone” in different locations throughout Montreal. Rikam is now a key element in the development of emerging psytrance culture in North America, and especially in Canada, where he is both DJ and instigator. He's played alongside renowned artists such as Ido Ophir, Hallucinogen, D-Nox, Ace ventura, Deedrah, Koxbox, Transwave, Domestic, Talamasca, GMS, Absolum, Wizzy Noise, Ticon, Dino Psaras, X-Dream, Protoculture, Pixel, The Delta, OTT, James Monro, Son Kite, Joti Sidhu, Wrecked Machines, Vibrasphere, and many others.

In 2005, after a set by DJ Edoardo at Tech Safari’s legendary monthly Amazone gatherings in Montreal, Rikam became the North-American representative for Italian Neurobiotic Records, a label managed by DJ Edoardo and represented by artists such as Joti Sidhu, Dimitri DKN, The Antidote, Zen Mechanics, Earthling, Silicon Sound, Altom, Polaris, Panick, and many more. Rikam is a versatile, open-minded DJ. He can mix night and day, as his powerful sets offer a mixture of intelligent psychedelic sounds and original grooves with progressive rhythms and s hypnotic atmosphere ranging from 138 to 145 BPMs. He's also has a particular interest for progressive trance & techno music ranging 125 to 132 BPMs.

Alison hails from Canada's Electronic Music Scene. Her continuously evolving dj skills since 1996 made her a solid performer. Styles include, ambient, chill out, world, trip-hop, jungle, break, progressive or full on psychedelic trance, etc, and brings a good dancing storm when entertaining.
  Alison was influenced early on in music, both from trips and at home. Outside of the numerous festivals, events and event hosting including Seventh Harmonic's 'Anishnabe Festival' series, a 6 year residency and co-founder of Ritual Nights, Natura Festival series in Quebec, since 2000 Alison has been promoting/decorating/performing/managing events since 1996. 

From the beginning, Alison never officially released a mix. In the Canadian scene, her work gained success exclusively through live music shows.
