Next up on our house podcast series we are pleased to introduce to you MTXP (Josh & Sam).
 

MXTP are an up-and-coming DJ/Production group made up of two people, Josh Walker and Sam McCabe. Their love for both house and techno shows throughout their mixes. They are heavily influenced by djs such as Boris Brejcha, Green Velvet, Fjaak and Amelie Lens. They have played in a few clubs in Dublin City including the Grand Social and Soundhouse. They are continuing to develop their skills as they wait patiently for clubs to reopen again.

 

The mix they created for us features groovy house, tech house and techno vibes with some influence from early garage, heavy basslines, fat synths and M1 organs. The mix demonstrates MXTP’s creativity combined with their mixing skills and excellent song selection, make sure to keep a lookout for these lads in the future!

Hailing from Aberdeen, the T E S T P R E S S duo are off the back of their SMML EP Release on Patrick Toppings 'Trick' label which smashed number 1 on the BeatPort house charts. Bagging numerous Radio 1 plays, As well as their debut vinyl release on H+P, they've also put out an EP on everyone's favourite, Eyeangle Records.

They've played shows all over Scotland and Ireland, including SWG3 on New Year’s Eve, whilst also holding down a residency in the world famous SubClub.

2021 will be an absolute lively one for the pair. 


We're excited to hear what they've brought to the lockdown tapes.
