After my Grandad died two weeks ago, I found myself writing only sad songs. Fast forward to today, almost 3 weeks since he passed and I finally wrote a happy song again. This is just a demo, audio isn't great as I didn't have tome to get my mics out. Recorded in two takes with my MacBooks on board mic.

Las Vegas was recorded at Pacific rehearsal rooms Liverpool in 2005 after returning to have our second daughter in our home town.

Our last residence in Las Vegas was just off West Flamingo and it was called Silent Hill from which you could see the bright lights of the strip.

For anyone that sat up in the hills and mountains that surround Las Vegas know just how breath taking it is, or coming back home from being out of town to be greeted by those lights should never be taken for granted.
