The great singer, activist and soul sister Sandra Izsadore is back in the mix. She graced the international music stage on 1976's 'Upside Down' and has worked with  legendary artists Fela, Osibisa, Ginger Baker and many more. She influenced Fela to write about and focus on cultural matters of Africa, the Afro-Diaspora and human rights. She helped Fela conceive of Afro-Beat in 1969 in Los Angeles. Pleasuremaker wrote this song channeling Fela Kuti, Sandra and the history that tied this moment together as we face the most blatant disregard for human lives, human rights and for the struggle all people of color and poor and working class folks face all around the world each day. A new day is dawning, we must recognize where we have been and where we are at to ever truly make a brighter world.
This track highlights what is happening on earth right now in 2015 and has been an ongoing struggle for justice world wide.

That song is a song about a young man who leaves his village and his young bride to go and work in the gold mines, where he is made to dig gold but that does not benefit him nor his people. He dies in the mine, and this is how his young bride feels.
