My original notes:
I’m thinking of having like 2 contrasting melodies - one more natural, the main characters theme, kinda tragic, representing their soul, a short motif. Then the second half of the animatic would have a second melody, like a music box. second melody was supposed to be steady, methodic, inevitable, in contrast to the more natural first theme and music box feel to represent young age (child soldier etc). the 2 themes would try to "battle" out each other while the character suffers that internal struggle, but only one theme wins.
