Three-time “Ignacij Ota” Composition Competition Award winning composer Aljoša Tavčar is one of the most talented and active musicians of his generation in the music world of the Slovenian community living in Italy.
He is founder and artistic director of the NOMOS Ensemble, NOMOS Ensemble Wind Quartet and NOMOS Jazz ensemble, conductor and music director of the Ricmanje Wind Orchestra (Pihalni orkester Ricmanje). In 2010 he founded the NOMOS Edition, an independent publishing company specialized in the production of high quality sheet music and music books.
