I spent an entire(!) day creating this mix - more time than I ever dedicated to a set. Putting what flow means to my current musical self into exactly 3 hours, 33 minutes and 33 seconds was an immense challenge. I had so much space to tell a story from very chill vibes to progressive sounds I’d play in a dark, sweaty club at 5am. Interestingly, working on the set itself was a very flowing experience, in which I forgot that morning turned into night. Just recently, I experienced a wonderful naked tea party where I got to DJ, and met its organizer Danielle. I asked whether she could describe what flow means to her - which she did in a voice message, which then turned into the intro of my set. Flow is letting go, trust, surrender and so much more. Bei diesem ungewöhnlich ausgedehnten KataHaifisch Podcast handelt es sich um ein Live-Recording von einer Mysticcreatures Tanzveranstaltung. Am 24.09.2022 wurden die beiden Musikschaffenden firgun & Heyoka zu einer Party der Berliner VA-Reihe eingeladen. Insgesamt 4 Stunden und 20 Minuten spielten sich die beiden in die Herzen und das Gedächtnis der Gäste. Bei einer solch umfassenden Reise durch die Sphären des Downtempo Genres ist musikalisch gesehen alles in diesem Set enthalten. Passagenweise wird es aufbrausend und energetisch, dann mal wieder nachdenklich und melancholisch. Zeitweise wandelt sich die Stimmung hin zu einer kindergleichen Leichtigkeit und wohlwollenden Unbeschwertheit.

Playing at Mezcal Amores was an absolute dream come true. ✨
In Mitla, one hour from Oaxaca - mountains all around, an agave field straight out of a painting, with Olivia Steele’s glowing art installations and messages scattered across the landscape like guiding stars. A lineup full of artists I deeply admire. A production that left zero wishes unfulfilled. And a crowd that felt like home.
Honestly, it was a “pinch me” moment from start to finish. I’m endlessly grateful to have been part of this year’s Oaxaca Experience.
Deborah - the biggest thank you to you and your entire team of dv experiences for bringing us all together in such a magical way and making this weekend truly unforgettable.

I will remember this forever.

Sharing the decks with an artist you deeply admire and call a friend brings a wild mix of excitement, nerves, and the kind of energy that pushes you to your limits — and sometimes beyond.
The idea first came up after my birthday last year. We kept dreaming and talking about it… and it finally came together in a 3-hour journey I can only describe as a true musical love affair.
We didn’t plan anything, just flowed into it naturally and at some point, it turned into a full-on jam.
It was one of those moments that felt like pure magic.

This was a spontaneous additional set at the Bosburcht festival in which I was able to show up without pressure, preparation or expectations. An opportunity to simply show up and share from a place of trust amongst a loving and welcoming crowd of proper ravers. As a result, it was one of my favourite sets in recent time.  Not only in terms of the musical result, but rather in how I felt during the process. To experience the level of harmony and flow amongst all beings inside the room at this tempo was truly a gift that I cherish.
