This is an old DJ Gumbee mix tape featuring music from the mid 90's a friend found.  Mostly Old Skool Breaks featuring artist like DJ Icey, Rabbit in the Moon, Cottonclub, Noel Sanger and so on....  I blended side A and B together of the original cassette tape recording (no CD's back then) and I brought the BPM down a tad.  All done live, all done with vinyl.  This is my underground roots.  I hope you enjoy.        =)

Good Ole' Daze

This is probably one of the most memorial nights I've ever had at a club. I remember spending the day with the family (as this was actually on Thanksgiving day). I had a terrible cold and my family was trying to convince me to stay in, but there was no way in hell I was going to miss a party at the Abyss. Thank god I went. I forgot about being sick about 2 seconds after working through the club doors.  The music was amazing and the place was packed and definitely up for a big night. 

Incredible music, vibe and people. Saved here for all to enjoy.

If anyone wants to try and track down the track listing and post it be my guest because I can't remember most of the tracks anymore...It does start with Monsoon - Africa. Who knows if this will get taken down so enjoy!

The summer of 1995 was probably the height of the underground music scene in Orlando, FL. This is one of several rare mixes recored live on a Thursday night at Firestone right there at the peak of that era.
