It looks like Netflix is hoping to expand  its catalogue with more faith-based films through a new deal.

US filmmakers Tyler Perry and Devon Franklin have been announced as producers for a series of Christian movies that will be exclusively available on Netflix.

Kicking off this new partnership will be "R&B," a contemporary version of the biblical love story between Ruth and Boaz.

It's now one year on from the start of ethnic and religious violence in India's northeastern state of Manipur. 

Clashes between the majority Hindu Meitei community and Christian tribal Kukis has led to at least 220 people being killed. 

People in the remote state bordering Myanmar have been suffering violence after a court ordered the state government last year to consider extending special economic benefits and quotas in government jobs and education enjoyed by the Kukis to the majority Meiteis as well.

Kailean Khongsai spoke with Premier's Fiona Stewart about what the past year has been like for those in Manipur. 

He's an ordinand in training in Southall who hosted a prayer event for persecuted Christians in Manipur.

This week, the Prime Minister, Rishi Sunak, stated that we are closer to nuclear escalation than at any point since the 1962 Cuban missile crisis. Is he right and what can be done? In 2008, US nuclear weapons were removed from British soil. Now it looks like the US wants to send them back. Should the British public have a say? New figures show alcohol abuse is costing 27.4 billion pounds a year in England.

The charity, the Institute of Alcohol Studies, says there has been more than a 40 per cent increase in the cost of harm since 2003.

The cost of alcohol misuse to the NHS alone is 4.9 billion pounds - which is reportedly enough to pay for the salaries of almost half the nurses in England.

A government spokesperson says the government is funding specialist alcohol care teams in hospitals with the highest rates of alcohol harm and socioeconomic deprivation.

But is that enough?

Premier's Tola Mbakwe spoke to Dr T Ajayi about this. 

He's a consultant psychiatrist in the NHS.
