We’re proud to welcome Azumai to the Weapon Audio camp. A producer who’s been making waves with his unique sound design and forward-thinking approach to drum & bass. With recent releases on labels like Vision, Critical and ProgRAM already under his belt, ‘Brutal’ marks his first outing with us and it sets the tone loud and clear.

This one does exactly what it says on the tin. ‘Brutal’ is a no-nonsense weapon engineered to rattle walls and twist heads.

The track opens with an eerie, cinematic intro, ghostlike textures and distant reverberations creeping in through the fog. But don’t get too comfortable…. As the tension builds, a cathedral of twisted choir harmonies erupts together with a monster reece...then come the squelchy bass stabs, chopped-up choirs, and the low-end pressure crushes everything in its path. Pure chaos, finely tuned for the clubs.

The result is one of the darkest, heaviest cuts in the catalogue to date.

No theatrics, only steady resolve, the amber glow of the dashboard, and the quiet certainty that home isn’t a dot on a map but the moment your pulse locks to the city. Through micro-details, flickering hats and a deep, breathing sub, Ichor sketches an inner itinerary: from the first shove to an even stride. No extra words. We’re, truly, finally here.
