Weill In The Mood Nr 2 - for Piano Four Hands

Begun years ago, and since remaining incomplete, my chamber opera, 'The Aria' fizzled out midway. I revisited this work and realized that some of the music was really quite good! Realizing that I would probably never hear it, I decided to transcribe the opening scene for electronics - lending the work a carnival-like, surrealistic atmosphere. Here I use lots of raw samples from Ableton Live, something I rarely have done in the past, as I wished to paint with garishly bright colors.
