Thread captured our ears with their early outings on Reach Recordz, where they showed a unique approach to stripped down breaks and electro, mixing broken beats with minimal, electro and tech-house. 

A project run by two hard-working veterans involved in the electronic music scene for the past 15 years, Marc Ashken and Ben Micklewright, Thread is just one of the several facets of this productions duo which is playing a key role in silently and relentlessly defining what we believe is a very unique sound, that blends influences coming from the vast legacy of the UK electronic music culture. 

For this EP we’ve selected four diverse cuts that showcase Thread’s distinctive sound while keeping in line with our ethos of finding music that’s out of trends and time.

Allan Petterson aka. Allan Blue has loved electronic music since he was 13, influenced by his father who has been a DJ since the 90s. Your first contact with the dance floors has been in 2011 and from their music production studies. In 2014 he released his first EP for the Spanish label Wavecollective, remaining time after dedicated to studies on music. He started the Monochrom project in 2016 alongside his friend, Matheus Cruz. Having released on some labels like Moira Audio, Bullfinch, Picnik, and Cause Org. Today collect some releases in good recs like Melotherapy, Conceptual, Welter, and Na Zrak.

DJ e Produtor nascido e criado na área periférica de Brasília, Allan Blue desde muito novo se envolveu na noite da capital e logo ganhou espaço através de seu talento. 

Suas composições mesclam texturas espaciais com experimentações e muito groove e são a personificação perfeita do que ele representa: Uma experiência mais profunda com a música. 

Allan possui lançamentos em diversas labels – Wavecollective, Floorpiece, Melotherapy, Conceptual, Welter, Na Zrak – e já desponta como nome expoente na indústria da música eletrônica, de tal maneira que recebeu suporte de Prichindel durante um live set para o Sunrise Hub.
