Last spotted selling elephants on eBay, Bebetta bites into 2018 with yet another genuinely unique concept: ‘Megalon / Hedorah’, two tracks dedicated to beasts defeated by Godzilla’s famous fierce wrath.

The vibes are as strong as the concept: ‘Megalon’ is an electrifying slice of drama that rolls and thunders with the weight and tension you’d expect from a 50 metre high drill-handed beetle humanoid. Its weapons come into action midway as we’re suddenly jolted into wokeness via a crisp, nerve-singeing breakdown that’s strong enough to KO a whole fleet of Godzillas.

‘Hedorah’ also lives up to its muddy, slimy gaseous pollutant namesake. A beast of two halves; the first three minutes of rolling percussive grooves don’t give any hint to the noxious euphoria that’s about to breakout midway. Powerful, highly strung in contrast and fittingly cinematic, over the course of eight minutes Bebetta has us in the palm of her hand and could crush us like a kaiju.

If that’s not quite enough, Uppercent gets involved in the skyscraper-top ruckus with his own take on ‘Hedorah’. Much more stripped back and peppered with theatrical one-note bass drones and shimmering pianos, if the original soundtracks the beast’s fight, this scores its gradual evaporation; emotional, raw and a perfect way to conclude this stunning one-of-a-kinda EP. You really don’t get much betta than this …

Four artists each take their individual approach to remixing the song "Shibren" by the folk band Bukahara from Berlin.

Ameli Paul bring the song into otherworldly spheres, adding hauntingly beautiful touches of piano to it. While they invite you for a dreamy trip, El Buho goes down a completely different road and gives us a bouncy remix of the original that is sure to get a dancefloor grooving. JAVID for his part transforms the song into an epic voyage into middle-eastern soundscapes that feels like it is lost in space and time. The EP is rounded of by Timboletti who delivers a dancefloor friendly touch to the original that will remain stuck in the audience's heads long after the night is over.

Fabio Giannelli launched the Maison D'être sound in June of last year and has nothing but success since. This year he returns to the fold after some adventures with Get Physical and Kindisch. Since there is no one who remotely sounds like him it is easy to fall in love with his harmonic consonance. Here we present his second release on Maison D'être, the 1986 EP.
"He seems to have saved the good stuff for us! lol, : ) Everything Fabio does, reeks of quality, from arrangement to mix down, this Italian dude is on fire!" says label owner Anthony Middleton.
Following his recent success, "Let the Spirit Sing", Giannelli continues with another summer slammer with the lead track, 1986. All of the tracks are equally solid; in fact there is a track for every mood.
"Land of Dreams" is the perfect name for this track. The chunky bass and whip like pulses teleport you into a land of discovery and bliss. Winding up and down, this track takes you on a true melodic journey.
The track "Moments" on the other hand has a deeper cadence. The use of drums, chimes, and deep vocals make for a song that has the right amount of everything.
"No Sun" winds up with bouncy tempo that leads to a spirited upbeat jazzy tune with horns and drums. The faint sounds of lyrics in the background add a thought-provoking dimension to the EP.
The 1986 EP is a perfect example of a musical journey. Four tracks of pure pep accompanied by steady tempos and drums. Needless to say, we hope your neighbors like this EP because it is one that you will want to play on full blast.

All Day I Dream events began on a Brooklyn rooftop back in 2011 and have since become an international sensation. Around the world, crowds continue to be drawn to the experience and to become a part of it's community. Spurred on by the music of Lee Burridge and his unique roster of artists, each brings his or her own emotive musical vision to the daytime party. Sounds that are all too rare in the current electronic music scene.

Each year the events continue to spread out across the world. From Los Angeles to London. Melbourne to Moscow, Berlin to Beirut to Brazil and back to their spiritual home base of New York City. They continue to flourish due, in part, to a core ideal. To create something truly magical. The passion to create magic manifests itself  both in those organizing as well as those attending the events.  

All Day I Dream also continually forges it's own unique ambience through a combination of the musical journeys taken by it's listeners as well as noteworthy venue choices. Each location transformed with the event's bespoke production design. Structural art, hanging gardens, colourful fabrics, fairy lights and lanterns.
