The title track OPIUM is based on the same experiences that inspired Peter to produce Synthetic Pleasure and Bedouin. The original track is a deep organic tune. The main theme is an epic melancholic trip with similar effects like a good opium pipe could give us.
On remix duties we are very proud to present new artists on Zenebona. Two brilliant producer debut with their remixes on the label.
These Remixes give special value for this pack.
Lucas Rossi (Hoomidaas) made a very nice organic house remix.
His track is a big & long journey into dreamy dimensions.
The DSF (All Day I Dream) remix is an epic fingerprint of the Greek talent. Easy vibes and happy sounds, a real summer hit. Quality works, both remixes are top tracks in the genre.

Celebrating their one year anniversary, DJ Ryan’s La Cura de la Semana welcomes Kamilo Sanclemente to the label for his debut EP. Long regarded as one of electronic music’s most beloved artists, the Colombian producer has taken his progressive minded sound to Anjunadeep, Beatfreak, Clubsonica Records, Replug and The Soundgarden, while earning continued support from genre tastemakers Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren. In a year that has seen Kamilo operate at his most prolific and consistent, he now brings his sought after beats and melodies to La Cura de la Semana to commemorate the label’s one year anniversary.

Spread across two tracks it is the smooth hypnotic qualities of ‘Colonies’ which get the EP underway. Masterful at creating infectious dance floor minded grooves, Kamilo crafts a strong foundation here as mountainous bass tones provide the backbone for electric rhythms, choir-like overlays and hazy harmonic refrains to create a colourful journey into the main break. Short but impactful, sprialling vocal gates and evolving tones marry across the interlude, conjuring up bucolic visions, before perfectly seguing into a tastefully melodic finale.

Equally impressive is the title selection ‘Hang On’ which finds Kamilo creating oriental style motifs over warm, progressive grooves. Timeless in execution and transcendent in delivery, it’s this hazy atmospheric resonance which perfectly preludes an exceptional vocal narrative. Hopeful and emotive, these impassioned phrases shift the narrative across the second act, opening up pleasure centres as the eastern motifs return for an elegant conclusion. It rounds out two immaculately produced progressive cuts from Kamilo, an artist who has his risen to the top of the progressive music spectrum and continues to operate at a creative peak. Meanwhile, La Cura de la Semana rings in it’s one year anniversary in memorable fashion, and in turn continues to find a nice roster balance between rising talent and sought after veterans. Highly recommended.

The experienced and talented artist Paul Thomas @djpaulthomas , comes to Univack for his first time, to present his 'Lumineux', an original track which is accompanied by one remix by Serious Dances and another one by Integral Bread.  Paul Thomas is one of the most important and influential people in the Progressive House scene for the last years, not only for his work as producer and Dj, but also for his work as owner in major labels like UV and UV Noir.  His style is very versatile, and we can find his productions in genres like Progressive House, Trance, Techno, Tech-House, among others, but this time with this 'Lumineux' we can discover his deepest and most organic house face.  The greek duet Serious Dancers @seriousdancers (Theofanis Rappas & Chrysanthos Kaslis) returns to Univack after the success of its 'Sabase Pahale', but this time as remixers, but also showing the particular and special style this duet has, where hypnotic melodies and vocals, sinuous rhythms, cinematic sounds and organic elements, are mixed to make you dance like in an ancient ritual.  Integral Bread @integralbread makes a peculiar remix of 'Lumineux', ussing a lot of original elements, but re-building them to get a different version, more Progressive, with his typical arps, hypnotic seqs, fat basses, and strong percusions. All Day I Dream events began on a Brooklyn rooftop back in 2011 and have since become an international sensation. Around the world, crowds continue to be drawn to the experience and to become a part of it's community. Spurred on by the music of Lee Burridge and his unique roster of artists, each brings his or her own emotive musical vision to the daytime party. Sounds that are all too rare in the current electronic music scene.

Each year the events continue to spread out across the world. From Los Angeles to London. Melbourne to Moscow, Berlin to Beirut to Brazil and back to their spiritual home base of New York City. They continue to flourish due, in part, to a core ideal. To create something truly magical. The passion to create magic manifests itself  both in those organizing as well as those attending the events.  

All Day I Dream also continually forges it's own unique ambience through a combination of the musical journeys taken by it's listeners as well as noteworthy venue choices. Each location transformed with the event's bespoke production design. Structural art, hanging gardens, colourful fabrics, fairy lights and lanterns. All melded together to fashion an unparalleled, irresitable atmosphere.
