With twenty years spent creating house music in all its deepest forms and an impressive discography under his belt, studio head YokoO is embarking on a new venture as he launches his record label Satya this April, a project that signifies the maturing into a state of unbridled surrender to the craft. The highly anticipated first release comes as a standout VA, featuring Matthew Dekay, Zone+, Retza and YokoO himself.

Planning to release on a quarterly basis, the label founder delves into the ethos and meaning behind the project: “Satya is one of the core principles of Yoga and means commitment to the Truth. I have lived by this principle for several years now. I know that only by being true to oneself can one shine and rise to higher frequencies in this realm, and inspire others to do the same. I wish for this platform to reflect the truest expression of our creative Selves, our higher Selves. In doing so, we will help in healing the world through sonic vibrations, and contribute to a shift in consciousness. I am looking forward to promoting artists who I have developed particular bonds with and of course, providing you with music which resonates with my heart. I will not be focusing on any specific genre but rather on an authentic sound, that comes from a place of deep truth within, a sound that was created in a state of flow.”

2021 marks the re-birth into a significant new chapter of YokoO’s career, having previously released on labels including All Day I Dream, Rebellion and Kindisch. Here he kicks off proceedings with the minimal cut, Ornella. A seductive, swinging bassline is complemented with vocal stabs, trippy FX and emotive chords that interweave throughout. Dutch artist Matthew Dekay delivers another dose of skippy, minimal goodness in 1234 with a funky bass that develops into cosmic synth lines. Matthew’s releases can be found on a plethora of labels like Maeve, Innervisions, Get Weird, Aras as well as his own Fur Die Liebe.

Zone+ is a DJ and producer from Bahrain, who has released on labels like Kindisch, Anjunadeep and Sol Selectas. His track Infinite Galaxy is a beautiful space expedition like no other, with enticing and moving chords. Australia’s Retza is last up to deliver Coder, a dubby house track with an infectious and elevating presence. Previous releases can also be found on labels like All Day I Dream, Get Physical and Watergate.

Zone+ seems to keep himself busy this days delivering outrageous quality dance music. His sound is always evolving and his grooves are always on top, his ability to bring beautiful melodies and making it all work is very unique as his style.
¨Lightning Blues¨ is a simple groove track but with exquisite dub sounds and a blues oriented vocal sample that makes the track perfect for a summer situation.

Peve from Brazil makes the debut on Akbal Music and he brings ¨Veemente¨ an amazing mystic track that is filled with some cool synth sounds and an epic breakdown with a lots feeling and personality.

Dark and brooding, a progressive icon in every sense of the word returns to Mango Alley after an autumnal Amsterdam excursion. Monax now rediscovers a sound that glistens in the musical language of "Kombe". Rooted in hypnotic rhythmic framework and rasping bass foundations that create spine-tingling foreboding, emotive chords emerge with tantalising delicacy as ancient sounds from African voices rise and fall in joyous melodic harmony. Interacting in complex patterns, the multi-dimensional "String Theory" bounces across the stereo spectrum in an array of infinite delay. Pulsing gently, the sounds of the universe are represented in cavernous sounds that hypnotise and form aural patterns in listener consciousness.

Revisiting the sonic architecture, glistening shards of light shoot skywards in coruscating patterns, Dutch mastery finds Formel painting an aural picture in stratified layers. A breath-taking work of art sees stepped arpeggio refracting from sunlit glass, scattering a kaleidoscope of sound through bass variation and white noise crescendo. An old master continues Dutch influence, Paul Hazendonk's dominant beat provides the perfect structural integrity for grooved bass pattern to be revealed from the dark shade, occasionally catching the light in elegant filtered fashion. Imperceptibly rising into slate grey skies, a shard of sunlight appears in twinkling arpeggio and textured cloudscape.

Rising from a cold Scandinavian night sky, the crystal-clear sounds of Sonic Union and Bastards of Funk, condense on the cool air. Sublimated sounds shift from one state to another with sonic ease creating glistening patterns in random arpeggiated patterns that rise and fall with bassline synchronicity. Dancing shards of light grace the night sky, another star shines brighter still.

The space around the stars, a million miles of darkness surrounds the world below.

All Day I Dream explores beautiful, emotional and melancholic shades of House and Techno through its label's releases, events and artists.

All Day I Dream events began on a Brooklyn rooftop back in 2011 and have since become an international sensation. Around the world, crowds continue to be drawn to the experience and to become a part of it's community. Spurred on by the music of Lee Burridge and his unique roster of artists, each brings his or her own emotive musical vision to the daytime party. Sounds that are all too rare in the current electronic music scene.

Each year the events continue to spread out across the world. From Los Angeles to London. Melbourne to Moscow, Berlin to Beirut to Brazil and back to their spiritual home base of New York City. They continue to flourish due, in part, to a core ideal. To create something truly magical. The passion to create magic manifests itself  both in those organizing as well as those attending the events.  

All Day I Dream also continually forges it's own unique ambience through a combination of the musical journeys taken by it's listeners as well as noteworthy venue choices. Each location transformed with the event's bespoke production design. Structural art, hanging gardens, colourful fabrics, fairy lights and lanterns. All melded together to fashion an unparalleled, irresitable atmosphere.
