Zurich's King Ben brings some smooth and sophisticated house sounds to two new tracks on Kindisch.

At one time, Ben was Switzerland's youngest DJ having secured a gig at the legendary Sputnik Radio aged just 13. From there he has developed his own signature deep house sound, rich in melody and with plenty of fresh grooves. He has promoted numerous parties back home and held residencies in places like Silo and Zoo Club. He has landed on the likes of WAYU, Bar 25 and this label before now and makes a welcome return to kick off his 2022.

Up first is the stylish 'Un Verre De Rosé,' an eight-minute symphony of cuddly synth work and wispy chords. Wordless vocal coos deepen the mood and daubs of melodic colour rise and fall like lava in a lamp. Add in the soft and seductive grooves and you have a brilliantly hypnotic track.

'Autumn Leaves' is just as exquisitely designed but with a more brooding mood. The drums stand taller, with rubbery synth sequences rising up and down the mix next to melancholic pads. There are deft details all around, from the subtle vocal wails to the woodblock hits via the warming sub-bass.

'Un Verre De Rosé' proves Ben is a master of escapist house music for quiet hours and cosy dance floors.

Aeyem who’s a multi-instrumentalist and producer from Melbourne, Australia. He is also a talented DJ who performs regularly at festivals and other large events in his home country, but this is his first official release.
The solo original “Reach the Water” also features the vocals of Lakyn whose emotive singing style pulls on the heart strings, while the melodic house/techno backing track provides a deep and pulsating groove similar to the likes of Innellea and Ben Böhmer.

German duo Super Flu deliver a stunning remix true to the immersive style they have released on record labels ranging from Diynamic and Stil Vor Talent to their own imprint Monaberry. Known for their quirky melodies and epic atmosphere underpinned by vibrant percussion, their remix on this release is another fine example of their distinctive style.

“Reach The Water” Feat. Lakyn opens with spine-tingling ethereal pads that are soon joined by the pulsating bassline which radiates warmth through the tracks. An early breakdown section introduces the sensual vocals that become the tracks defining element. Wonky and wonderful the groove is pushed forward by the pounding of the kick drum and washes in the liquid textures that add to the track’s immersive vibe.

Super Flu step up on remix duty, and their version is a deep and dirty re-tweak, utilising the original elements, but adding Super Flu's hallmark dirty and infectious flavours. Wobbly edges meet the warmth, as a gated synth line takes control, while the vocal glides effortlessly, befire the twittery riff really takes control. Big and bold!

Bonfante delivers two perfect examples for this kind of sound. Aldeapolis lifts our spirits like the promise of t-shirt weather. The retro-infused, rhythmically stripped- down to the maximum remix of @mollonobass focuses entirely on the vocal. Cyborgs Like Unicorns Too is playful and humorous not only in its title, here Bonfante creates a mighty recognition factor by using the outrageously cool sound of an electric guitar. The remix of @stimming throbs along under the influence of acid, leading us into the rather trippy environment of a late party hour.

Fresh out of the camper is Joep Mencke’s Mataka Ep. After the success with his debut Asiri last year, we have been hooked on Mencke’s sound. With two solid originals and an adventure of a remix by the label bosses unders & Noraj Cue, Mataka delivers.


Tum sounds like you’re on a boat on tranquil water floating into a mysterious world full of wonders. Its dark, yet light. The mist makes you want to doze off but the claps, conga’s and busty breakbeats keep you awake. The horizon is hazy, yet the subtle swing is so clear. A whole new world lies yonder, come out and play, says Tum. More is coming, says Mr. Mencke, just wait for it.


The second production and the EP’s name carrier does not take any shortcuts. Mataka’s groove kicks in straight away. Little joyful bells enlighten the darkness. The moment you think Mataka can’t take you any deeper, Mataka erupts. Heroically it lets you know the battle is won,  Mataka made its mark, it's invincible. The shout of the Maori warrior after victory: Mataka!


In Mataka's remix, the atmospheric pad lets you float through the sky. Dreamy tickling bells are covered by a broad, open, wide sound. It triggers, lifts, it excites. Alice in Wonderland’s clock guides, the inception like dark is put against an angel’s voice kicking in. The voice is like a flower sprouting in spring after a long dark winter. Mataka’s interpretation by label honcho’s unders & Noraj Cue brings depth, it inspires and adds adventure.

A deep magic lures and allures in 'El Valle De Kadisha'. An ancient Lebanese valley, it's one of the oldest natural heritage sites in the world. The Aramaeans translate Kadisha to sacred. The ancient Rumaki tribe harnessed a creative force there that they believe came from the cosmos.

The history, mythology, spiritual energy and explainable tales of Kadisha have all inspired and moved millions over the centuries. Argentinian-in-Spain @bodaishin is the latest to embrace its beguiling energy with his debut album on @donotsit.

Eight tracks deep: 'El Valle De Kadisha' is a celebration of the valley's most enchanting tales. Capturing the movements of the Rumaki; the paintings they'd decorate the cave with, the voices they'd hear deep within it and the famous tribe of women who pointed the Rumaki directly through the fire and into a deep state of a timelessness, spiritual enlightenment and, eventually, rebirth.

Deep, meditative, unhurried and woven with many musical layers, Bodaishin captures the magic of this unique place in space and time with a sound that complements Do Not Sit On The Furniture's spirit perfectly. Some sacred stories will never grow old.

All Day I Dream events began on a Brooklyn rooftop back in 2011 and have since become an international sensation. Around the world, crowds continue to be drawn to the experience and to become a part of it's community. Spurred on by the music of Lee Burridge and his unique roster of artists, each brings his or her own emotive musical vision to the daytime party. Sounds that are all too rare in the current electronic music scene.

Each year the events continue to spread out across the world. From Los Angeles to London. Melbourne to Moscow, Berlin to Beirut to Brazil and back to their spiritual home base of New York City. They continue to flourish due, in part, to a core ideal. To create something truly magical. The passion to create magic manifests itself  both in those organizing as well as those attending the events.  

All Day I Dream also continually forges it's own unique ambience through a combination of the musical journeys taken by it's listeners as well as noteworthy venue choices.
