Caldera Republic's second release is an edit of the track “Mitamiyo”, released in 1982 by the Senegalese duo Mendes & Mendes.
The original song is a combination of Creole Portuguese-African polyrhythms, American boogie, and Brazilian samba.

"You Should Be Dancing" is a song by the Bee Gees, from the album Children of the World, released in 1976. It hit No. 1 for one week on the American Billboard Hot 100, No. 1 for seven weeks on the US Hot Dance Club Play chart, and in September the same year, reached No. 5 on the UK Singles Chart. The song also peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard Soul chart. It was this song that first launched the Bee Gees into disco. It was also the only track from the group to top the dance chart.

NYC leftfield disco darlings Phenomenal Handclap Band made their first appearance on RNT by way of a collab with JKriv in 2022, and now they return for an offering all their own, the Burning Bridges EP.

The title track is a groundbreaking hypnotic post-disco pop gem, and Prins Thomas turns the tempo knob up a few clicks and launches into an extended interstellar excursion with his remix.

A relatively unknown Californian Soul & Gospel band, The Supreme Jubilees released only one LP, in 1979, which was recently re-issued and is a highly recommended gem. 

Keyboardist Leonard Sanders wrote the wonderful song, "It'll all be over", and I was not surprised when I read he was a big fan of Donny Hathaway, as this soulful groove clearly evokes Donny's sound.
