Tech house often gets labelled as dumb. It's no surprise; there are some stupid tech tracks right now. But what gets overlooked is that, when done well, its simplicity is one of its superpowers. No one exemplifies that more than Miguel Bastida. A master of the simple yet brilliant hook, Bastida has been delivering titanic three-note totems to an adoring DJ crowd since 2008. Starting on his and Ruiz dB's Be One label and quickly joining other scene-setting imprints like La Pera and elRow, he soon got the attention of all the big DJ-friendly labels. By now, his discography reads like a who's who of the biggest tech labels: Hellbent, Sola, Suara, Deeperfect, Natura Viva, etc. For his GU debut, he sticks to what he does best and delivers a rolling percussive groove with minimal flourishes and maximum heads-down groove. Add a raucous ragga vocal on the drops, and you've got a peak-time rave banger. Thunderous!

Promising Brazilian talent Camila Jun is shaking things up with her debut on Toolroom Trax, the powerful club banger 'The Giggle’. Camila Jun is beginning to breakthrough musically this year with notable releases on Wh0 Plays and Nervous, and she made her first label appearance on the Toolroom Miami 2024 album back in March with ‘Super After’.

Camila has been a standout supporting act for Brazilian heavyweights Dubdogz, and Camila has performed main stage across Brazil with her energetic library of tech house influenced by carnival which Camila can do authentically. ‘The Giggle’ centres itself around the playful vocal loop that gives the track it’s title and features solid big room drums & bass that captures the essence of club culture, perfect for any big room DJ!

It’s a strong return for Toolroom Trax favourites Thomas Newson & Raumakustik as they team up for their latest club essential ‘Gucci Belter’. 

Thomas Newson is hot on the heels of his James Hype & Klubbheads release ‘Left To Right’, and has seen regular outings on Toolroom Trax last year with his previous GUZ collaboration ‘The Middle’, and solo single ‘Watch Your Back’ which has earnt him some well-respected club support from Armin Van Buuren, Shiba San, ACRAZE, Tita Lau and Afrojack.

Alongside Thomas, Raumakustik mark their welcomed return as label & artist move into their 10th year of releasing music together under the Toolroom umbrella. The duo has become well known for their ability to provide peak-time club essentials time and time again which is why the scene recognise them in high regards across Tech House and Techno. Dario Nunez is connecting well with DJs as he continues to climb high in the Tech House charts across Beatport & Traxsource with numerous top 10’s on Toolroom Trax, HUGEL’s Make The Girls Dance and Claptone’s Golden Recordings proving that DJs are resonating with his signature big room energy.
