Pipiltzintzintli EP is designed as a concept-opus around the notion of psychedelia in electronic music. It is conceived exclusively using sounds from hardware synthesizers and modular systems.

 The repetitive motifs are chosen here for their organic and cerebral aspect; they act physically on the listener, the intention being to seek out sounds that act like active principles, like psychotrops. The idea is also to maintain a rather minimalist approach, with reduced use of percussive and/or melodic elements. Multilayering is used here to access a deeper sonic dimension, to tap into the inner self, a mental image like an imaginary, unconscious landscape. 

There's also an acidic dimension to the album, with references to a whole section of the history of repetitive electronic music: Warp's pre-2000s period with LFO and the distinctive sound of early Plastikman are particularly present here. The opus is rounded off by the unique touch of producer friends Gëinst, Inerit and Accou, who all revisit a track of their choice in their own way.

Native from the middle French land, vinyls activist from 2000’s ending,  A.Silentio started to make electronic music and work one’s way up on his local scene before to be part of the new young Parisian’s scene with the Moebius/ Drom group.
Based now in Lyon, he was the first head of Partition Libre team, who made parties with artist such as Kangding Ray, Neel, Korridor, Mike Parker, Takaaki Ikoh, just to name some of them. 
Inspired by artist as Donato Dozzy, Sandwell District or Oscar Mulero, he is hosting now an Ultra residency at Terminal Club.
His first released came on 2016, for a VA on the interstellar label Why Are We Here, with a second one in 2019 on Perchépolis.
From 2016, he’s a part of the Château Perché Festival team as director and manager of the techno oriented floor, and one of artistic director of the Perchépolis mucic label.
