LONELY - Allegra Miles

Allegra’s latest single “Lies” is a candid artistic expression of a bizarre and traumatic experience that changed her life forever. She was manipulated into an abusive, obsessive relationship with an online predator “catfish” – an imposter posing as someone else – who began stalking her Instagram Lives in 2020 during her time on “The Voice”. For many months, Allegra’s life was largely controlled by this master of deception, who kept her reeled in with their skillful web of lies upon lies (hence the song title). After multiple attempts, Allegra was eventually able to end the relationship, but continued to be stalked and harassed for a substantial time. This experience resulted in a plethora of songs Allegra has written inspired by the events, “Lies” being a standout among them. She hopes that the song will raise awareness about this rising social media phenomenon and how dangerous it is.

“I wrote City Limits in probably 20-30 minutes. I had the chord progression in my head, then sat at the piano and the lyrics just flowed, kind of like stream of consciousness. It was honestly one of the easiest songs to write -- I wasn't overthinking or judging anything, which was really freeing. Eyes - Allegra Miles

Allegra Miles is a 21 year old recording artist and singer/songwriter based in Los Angeles, CA. Born in San Diego, she then spent 5 years living on St. John in the U.S. Virgin Islands before moving to West Palm Beach, Florida. Allegra was a finalist on NBC’s The Voice (top 9) and ABC’s American Idol (top 14). Following those appearances, Allegra kicked off her solo career with the release of the critically acclaimed song “Tainted” and two nationwide tours with BabyJake, Fritz Hager, and others. Allegra has a distinct, captivating sound that ranges from indie pop to R&B/soul and makes people feel something. Most recently, Allegra became the voice of the V Foundation anthem “Stronger Than You Know,” in partnership with ESPN/Disney Music Group and released her debut EP – Heal My Soul – in Summer 2023.
