Synthesizer!!!!!!!!!

I did this on my Yamaha MSX computer-each sound,it`s length and tone,together with all other markings(ralls/accels etc)had to be put in individually-it was a long process! I linked the recording(via midi)to my Yamaha MC600 organ and at one point 4 tracks are playing simultaneously-as the recording was made on analogue tape-it was too big for the computer and had to be made/spliced together in 4 pieces-I hope you cannot hear the join! This recording uses almost all of the on-board sounds of the computer.

This started with me recording a backing track from the BK7 onto my Fostex MR-8, then I played the XE200 thru the Vent and lastly added a bit of Guitar from the BK7.

This song was where Barry Manilow got the previously unpublished lyrics from the widow of the late Johnny Mercer and wrote a melody to it which I think fits perfectly ( you can listen to Barry's recording on You Tube)

All sounds created on either Moog Rogue or Sequential Circuits Pro-One analog monophonic synthesizers and performed into Logic Express 8.  No MIDI.
