Welcome to the "All Good Things". This site is dedicated as an open source performance project to express the importance of protecting the basic sustenance for all creatures' existence on Earth through poetry, artistic expression, and a cappella music. It is broken up into 7 acts with an end and a beginning (The beginning is the end!) There are written poems for each act that are the foundation for the improvisational portion of each act. I am looking for artists of all types to participate. Vocalist, poets, visual artist (especially for freestyle works created during the performance), beat boxers, etc... This and a wordpress site at https://allgoodthingspoetry.wordpress.com, will be the archive of all contributions and all contributions will be available for you to perform in your own community however you would like. Consider it like a catalog of poems and art to use in any combination as you like or create one from scratch. Improvisational and hip hop artist are encouraged to participate. The original concept for this project was for it to be an a cappella, improvisational hip hop musical with a 3 part a cappella orchestra to back up the vocalist. The orchestra's 3 parts will face each other in a similar fashion as a Shape Note Sing http://fasola.org/. The vocalist would be the conductor for the acts. It is encouraged that everyone rotate through all the parts of the performance. This project is all about cooperation and love and not intended to be a capitalistic venture! It is anti-copyrighted!!! This project is intended to stir up emotions and inspire us to take action to protect All Good Things and free them from the grip of corporate aggression!
