Here is my best shot at one of their tracks- the first 7 minutes anyways.

**I do not have the sheet music for this nor did I transcribe it. I suppose one day I could, but I played this entirely by ear.**

Wolf howls were recorded at the wolf habitat, at the base of Grouse Mountain in Vancouver, British Columbia in April '11. The intro piano piece was written in May '11. I have no idea what brought this on. A friend mentioned this band and I fell into some kind of nostalgic haze and haven't been able to stop listening. I went on an insightful, four mile walk on the beach, came home, and arranged this in an hour. 


Found Out About You (Piano)

A dear friend entitled the photo; another friend suggested the title be used for a song. The music was mostly improvised with the exception of the end measures . In other words, the music was influenced by the photo.

Steep Hills of Vicodin Tears: A Winged Victory for the Sullen (Live in Seattle)

I recorded this with my iPhone at the Steinway & Sons dealer in downtown Seattle. The sound quality is not the best and this was played on an older piano, which did not have the best resonance. This piece is still in progress.  The obvious squeaking is due to the pedals being taped up with foam.

I've messed around with this melody before but wanted to record something one particular evening. This track was the end result. There's an obvious out of place note (or two) but I still like how it came out. This was also recorded on a portable Tascam device.

We Have to Go Back!

Mostly improvised, this piece was written one week after stabbing a knife through my hand. My apologies for the seriously flawed mastering and wonky recording; a work in progress and so thankful I didn't permanently damage my hand.

First original piece written in 8+ months.
