‘Red And Blue’ é o primeiro trabalho oficial de Lady Gaga, enquanto ainda era conhecida por Stefani. O disco foi gravado com o apoio de sua banda, a Stefani Germanotta Band, ou SGBand, sendo todo o conteúdo de sua autoria, produzido por Joe Vulpis. É constituído de baladas de vocal feminino com uma pegada de glam rock. Em sua maioria, seu conteúdo se baseia em um piano forte acompanhado da voz de Gaga.

Em 17 de dezembro de 2005 algumas de suas músicas foram apresentadas no The Lion’s Den, porém, o EP só foi vendido oficialmente em nove de março de 2006, no The Bitter End, local em que Gaga costumava se também apresentar. Trata-se de uma re-edição de seu disco demo anterior, ‘Words’, que possui a mesma track list. Devida a baixa distribuição do disco, nenhuma música foi trabalhada como single, o que não impediu que ‘Wish You Were Here’ entrasse para as paradas de países como Romênia, Polônia e Hungria no início de 2009.

Damn... One of the greatest innovators of all time has left us today. So influential to so many people. I remember being mesmerized by that simply detuned rim shot that he had in many of his 80s era tracks.

Here is a remix I did a while back and play in our sets from time to time, It's a mash of George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic covering "Erotic City" and can only be found on the soundtrack to the movie PCU. I added in parts of the original 12inch from Prince so that the two masters of funk are singing together and trading verses.

Play this loud enough for the Heavens to shake and groove.
