Are You Finished Yet? is our first official studio single. It emerged from one of our recorded improv sessions wherein we make up songs and lyrics on the spot. We went back and collaboratively composed and added new parts and redubbed some of the original parts to create a bigger, denser, and more polished sound. Jason also reworked the lyrical content. The song attempts to describe the struggle that is faced trying to rationalize addiction, mostly written from the point of view of the substance, activity, or object of desire. The substance patronizes and mocks any attempts to escape the cycle of addiction.
