PM inaugurates joint conference of CMs, CJs

A new Regional News Unit, RNU of All India Radio started functioning at Sambalpur in Odisha today. This 46th RNU  aired its first ten minute bulletin news in Sambalpuri language at 08:15  this evening. The Sambalpuri news will particularly cater to the people of Western Odisha through Sambalpur, Bhawanipatna, Bolangir and Rourkela stations. 

Secretary, Ministry of Power, P. K. Pujari, was the chief guest  at the inaugural function of the  RNU which is second  in Odisha after Cuttack. Director General of All India Radio, News, Sitanshu Kar also addressed the inaugural function.  	

With this, the number of language and dialects, in which AIR broadcasts its news bulletins,  has gone up to 92.
