Chunky, swinging drums and Edwardian vocal chops are stitched to create an EP of poppy and bittersweet house.

last year i took my foot off the gas with DJing, which enabled me to (amongst other things...) go and enjoy watching my friends and peers at clubs and festivals.
those joyful experiences made me just want to write something direct and uplifting for those moments - and out came Rosebud.

The first single ‘Love Me A Little’ sees K-LONE cherrypick influences from inside and outside the club - decorating house and UKG rhythms with angular, noodling pop melodies that recall Kitsune and Greco Roman in their heydey. Fizzy, lo-fi drums accompany an ear-worming bassline and lush JUNO chords for a summery club-non-club anthem that that marks a new high point in his ever-deepening discography.

The Manchester-based producer, DJ & label-head introduces the EP with title-track ‘Acheless’ - which fuses arpeggios, visceral pads & glitched-out garage percussion into a euphoric club cut.

‘It Swims Here’, begins with twinkling synth lines before emerging as a hypnotic house track crafted for the final half-hour on the dance-floor with dreamy vocals and whispers weaved throughout. The fast-paced ‘Couldn’t Find The Words’ sets the mood for post-rave reminiscing, blending analog synth bleeps, dubby chords & breathy gasps into a tightly-wound introspective minimal track.
