EYX018 brings Scalymoth's debut EP, the two-tracker titled "Lush / Humble Rumble” marks a new milestone in the rapidly rising career of the DJ from Brisbane (Australia).

Scalymoth, has emerged as rising talent in the electronic music world, quietly making waves with her unique sound and innovative production techniques. Drawing inspiration from diverse experiences and the vibrant
energy of different locales, the Australian producer’s music is a blend of i intricate production, atmospheric textures, and powerful beats.

The EP offers two contrasting yet complementary tracks that highlight his versatile production skills and deep understanding of the dancefloor. "Lush" opens the EP with a cascade of ethereal textures that transport listeners into a dreamlike state. The track's layered synths and gentle beats create an atmosphere of tranquility and introspection, making it perfect for both chilled-out listening sessions and early morning festival sets. In stark contrast, "Humble Rumble" brings the energy up with a pulsating bassline and fierce beats that are sure to ignite dancefloors. inspired by random occurrences over the last year. I'm also excited I got to weave in some field recordings I took in India.

After a couple of EPs, qoso reveals his first LP on In Paradisum, a label he joined in 2013 for the Like It Soft EP he cosigned with Low Jack. Charlie Janiaut opens up a third way between physical energy and experiments on sound textures. The producer originally from Franche Comté has dusted his fingers on battle scratch and his playing with computer is totally instinct driven. Playing techno from the viewpoint of rap music, qoso’s music is entirely based on samples and feeds on mistakes, frequency translation and a piling up of effects leaving space to randomness. The tracks on Printemps Ete were composed all at once and speak more to the body than the head - they’re rhythm tracks as stated by Emotional, which opens the record where most electronic albums like to put a nice ambient track. After being compared to Blawan or Levon Vincent by Resident Advisor, qoso is now leaving most references points behind with a syncopated sound that puts some fun into the raw.

So, then we have Vina Konda's solid debut EP. Vina Konda's productions use club weapons to translate his vision of efficiency. Zinkala is some dubby reflections with breaks timestretched, elemental pads, bass/sub tensions, phasing voices and a curious passion of marimba's solo... 
After his first apparition under WVRXRVW on Nous Disques Records's Various, he takes off and burst into his mind to connect his propositions. 
Highly recommended with pills to fall/fail in love on the dancefloor !
