Now I'm feeling like my life's at a crossroads
That little dude been helping me find the time

The concept of time was still something new
He came with an alarm to wake me up for school

Every Daylight Savings I would spring him forwards
added something fresh to the room
girls I had over always said he was cute
Did his job til the last tick of his second hand

I put in 2 new AAs to no avail
I should've known he was getting old and frail

A lifespan like this was a ton of luck
Cuz he couldn't have cost more than 20 bucks
Had me youtubing how to fix a clock
I could try but that would kinda miss the plot
I gotta move on, can't dwell on lost time
I can't replace him, I never been a watch guy
I still got life to live and rhymes to say
Even though now my friend's only right twice a day
I feel dumb for feeling such sadness
