Over the moon to share my entry for the ‘H3000 - July Heat’ remix competition!

Very happily placed second! 

This track is a more club like electronic take on the original, where I thought I’d take the wonderful vocals and other unique characteristics from the original and twist it up with some of delightful synths and winding basslines

H3000 - July Heat (Sean Cashman's Mirage Mix)

Using predominately the original stems, and upping the tempo to 146BPM, I altered some of the original sounds to create the vision of the remix that swiftly came to my mind. While respecting the beautiful original synth lines and giving them some extra strength, I also chopped some up to give the track some more rhythm. After then overdriving and distorting the bass I gave it some structure with a jungle-esque beat, which then lead to adding in the chimes and large effects, tying the piece together.

Lola Young - Messy (Cashman Edit)

Fresh in is my submission for the Beatport Live x Junction 2 DJ competition for the brand new stage ‘The Block’. A platform for new talent, and hopefully a chance to play at a festival I hold with a high regard! 

I went with the flow with nothing planned on this one, only a fresh stack of tunes and a new DJ set up! The only aim was to capture what I feel the vibe of J2 is and how I would play being up there on that stage.

It’s fun journey through a variety of bassweight sound, enjoy!
