Leaders speak of freedom and security, but behind their words lie profit, control, and a cycle of destruction that repeats through history.

The verses move through stark imagery, children hiding from bombs, families torn apart, truths buried beneath media spin, all while the wealthy and powerful profit from chaos. Each line draws out the contrast between the polished language of diplomacy and the brutal reality faced by those caught in the crossfire.

The bridge reflects on history’s repetition, showing how war is recycled and repackaged with new names, while the chorus drives home the central message: life is treated as disposable, tossed aside for the gain of a few.
