I've never glorified the violence that takes place in the hood, matter of fact I've kinda been reluctant to speak about certain things I've experienced in the past because I'd just rather not bring up the old memories & I've lost too many loved ones to the bullshit. But when this beat came on, it kinda just all pored out on the mic. 

Recording this one truly put in perspective how blessed I am to make it from the place I come from & to have grown out of a mindset everything around me told me that I should have.
