AllyCaT is a hip hop producer, DJ and beatmaker based out of Charlottetown, PEI in Canada.
Since 2003 he has performed and recorded with numerous artists.
His style would be defined as old school or boom bap, but he had never shied away from
experimenting with other genres of music or styles of hip hop.
He was the resident DJ for weekly hip hop nights and shows at the Drop in Lounge in
Charlottetown, and an organizer, performer and volunteer for the annual Hip Hop in the Park
event held in Charlottetown to raise money for the Food Bank and other charities.
Over the years he has shared the stage with: Ras Kass, K-os. Merkules, Snak the Ripper,
SnowGoons, Swollen Members, Alpha Omega, Philly Moves, Three Sheet, Universal Soul, Klee
Magor, Evil Ebenezer, Fortunato, Moka Only of Swollen Members, Swisha-T. and many many
more.
He performed twice during the 2019 East Coast Music week, at the hip hop showcase and on
the Radio ECMA stage.
He has performed at hip hop showcases for Music PEI in 2010, 2018 and 2019, 2022, 2023,2024.
Along with being the go to DJ for many acts touring through PEI, he has also toured the
Maritimes, Quebec and Ontario.
He was nominated for a Music PEI award in 2010 for the album "Look No Hands" I 2019 was nominated for a PEI Music award in the Electronic category for his work on The Trips EP The Trip with AllyCaT. Also Nominated in 2020 for 5 Music Pei awards 2 in the Rap/Hiphop Category with (ATF) and(SB)  and has
produced songs on Modern Day Poet's debut album "Head Down, Chin Up". In 2012 he won a
remix contest hosted by Philly Moves. He has co-produced two albums, "Dedication" and "End
Of The Weak", by Moncton rapper MDB. He is currently working with Poet and Atomic as a
group called Adjust The Facts, with a album droped called "Go Play Outside", and their second album Beaten to the Punch. Also has produced new songs for PEI and Quebec based group The Trip. New self titled album out Serendipitous Bastards with Eric Broadbent. Currently working on many new projects.
