My Impression of Foofa From Yo Gabba Gabba!

Track from "The Mandii Mixtape." This is definitely my favorite song I've written in terms of being "catchy," or targeted for an audience that listens to music on the radio. My tunes are always a bit odd, but this one seems pretty straight forward. Move to it if you have to, it always helps me. N'Joy!

The project is a tribute to DIY recording, and using your music to process difficult times in life. I very seldom write my lyrics down, instead just ad-libbing the words as they came to me with each take. This was the very first track I wrote for "The Mandii Mixtapes," and it remains one  of my very favorites. Hope you enjoy it.  See Lyrics Below:

I thought for days that I was lost amongst a spiteful crowd. 
They boo-ed along, and said we couldn't play the dance 'cause we're loud. I told my teacher's that I secretly wanted them to die. 
They played along until I stabbed one of the "alumn's" in the eye.
My time here's short so what the hell's the point of any regret?
I want to leave the world with them thinking I had Tourettes.

On his last day of work he quietly exited the building; he shook no ones hand and he said no goodbyes. 
On the last day with her, he got dressed slowly, and he forgot to tie his shoes. He left his watch, as well as three mismatched socks. 
The last day of high school he left his copy of "The Fountainhead," and a very rare Pokemon card. He would always be slightly regretful of that.
The last day of his life he forgot to remind anyone he was ever alive in the first place. He would regret that as well.
