Synchronicity at Boom can lead to very special and unforgettable moments. This set is the result of pure Boom magic. On the last evening of the festival, after the Dance Temple gave it's final kicks, I was allowed to play this set at the Grand Cafe and a huge gathering of fluffy boomsters came to smile and dance. Thank you so much for the energy and the feedback! Biop6 & Alma Deya - Triton (Original Mix)

Alma Deya, composed of Daniel Leuenberger (Alma) and Noémie Matthys (Deya), has quickly made a name for themselves in the electronic music scene. With Alma’s roots in the Swiss Alps and Deya’s classical music background, the pair brings a unique blend of rhythmic prowess and melodic complexity to the genre. “Morn” marks their inaugural venture with Reckoning Records, introducing their distinctive sound to a broader audience.

The EP kicks off with its namesake, “Morn,” a track that pulsates at 122 BPM. It’s a composition that captures the serene yet energetic essence of dawn, blending soulful melodies with uplifting beats to create an immersive listening experience. “Morn” is a testament to the duo’s ability to craft soundscapes that are both introspective and invigorating, making it the perfect soundtrack to welcome a new day.

Following “Morn” is “100 Monkeys,” a track with a slightly slower tempo at 120 BPM, yet equally captivating. This track delves into the playful and unpredictable nature of progressive house, weaving intricate rhythms with whimsical melodies. “100 Monkeys” showcases Alma Deya’s innovative approach to music production, blending elements of the genre in novel ways to create a sound that is uniquely their own.

ALMA (Les Fines Herbes) DJ-SET for Boom Tchak Radio

ALMA DEYA is a progressive techno duo composed of Daniel Leuenberger and Noémie Matthys, from Switzerland. Daniel Leuenberger a.k.a. ALMA, was born in Brighton (UK) in 1980. He grew up in the Swiss Alps and spent his teenage years in Chile. There, he had his first encounters with electronic dance music, at secret locations in downtown Santiago. In 1999, during a trip to Patagonia, he experienced his first outdoor psytrance party, opening a whole new chapter in his life. After many fulfilling years in Chile, Daniel returned to the Swiss forests, where his first progressive techno dj-sets resonated in the summer of 2008. Today, Alma's sets combine solid grooves with a nature-loving, spiritual outlook on life. 

In the spring of 2019 he co-founded Les Fines Herbes, an organic techno party crew in the french-speaking region of Switzerland.

In his 13 years as Alma, Daniel has played at such amazing events as the Somuna Festival, Summer Never Ends, Timegate, Boom Festival, One Love, SUTI Festival, Harmonic Festival, Electron Festival, LSD75, Éclosion Festival, and countless family gatherings out in the bushes.

In 2022 Alma joined forces with Deya (Noémie Matthys) and started producing deep soulful progressive techno, giving birth to the live project ALMA DEYA.
