This is powerful work that does a great job of expressing the feeling of isolation while the bustling world goes on.

So many cool elements….the deep woodwind, the electric piano, and the thought provoking title.

I love this dissonance. It perfectly describes how I feel in a crowd.

An amazing soundscape by two even more amazing musicians.

Great sonic experiment playing with humankind's interdependence on one another and yet the need for occasional isolation is beautifully expressed here for me. Great and seriously meaningful collaboration. Great meeting of kindred souls here. Bravo guys, may there be many more

The aura of urban loneliness is indeed strong in this composition. Amazing arrangements and performances!

'Alone In A Crowded Place' is a fusion track inspired by the experience of feeling alone whilst surrounded and in the midst of a large group of people. Composition is shared with Georg Boehme, whilst Georg's wind arrangements are simply mind blowing as is his soloing on this track. So then once again I have had the exceptionally good fortune of sharing another musical journey with this extraordinary player, arranger and composer.

Now retired from a life 'on the road' as a freelance keyboard player, I compose and record in my home studio, situated in the Carrick Hills in Southern Scotland. My music is mainly instrumental in nature and is a reflection of my life experience, sometimes real and sometimes imagined.
