I have uploaded a collage of live kalimba, environmental and life sounds that I have recorded and collected in voice memos on my iPhone over the past year. I titled it 'Rain Washes Everything Away'. There is no particular deeper meaning as it is just an idea I got from the material I gathered.
The rhythm is in a seven-beat loop.

Looking through different windows [part 1]

There is a scene in the sci-fi novel "The Vanished Birds" by Simon Jimenez where the reader surveys a very long shoreline with very many bonfires. I'm uncertain now of the meaning of this, but it is a very striking image nonetheless.

Bonfires On The Shore

Springs and autumns in the Panhandle are a mix of bluster and balminess, robins and red buds, falling leaves and falling temperatures, gentle rain and time change; a resetting of the clocks, and maybe a resetting of one's life. This tune considers resetting one's life, rethinking priorities.  Francois Pierre Morin graciously offered to add orchestration enhancing the mood and mystery of the seasons.
