Celebrating 13 years since the original release, and one of Capital Cities' biggest hits, Safe & Sound, the timeless anthem of the 2010s gets the festival treatment!

On a personal note, I'm happy to share this one, It's been in the making for a while and sitting in my drive for a couple of years, and not planning on ever putting it out there.
Eventually, I've decided it was time to let it go and see whether it will have the same magic released as it has when only I played it at my shows.
And on that note, a massive thank you to the people at my shows, screaming the lyrics in the breakdowns and flying high in the drops! You've convinced me to just put it out here and let others enjoy it, so I hope you'll love it!

A personal love note to a lost friend, Eyes closed is one of my personal favorites when it comes to emotional, personal songs.
Producing my version, I’ve tried to bring the original emotional content of the lyrics into the world of dance music, and tell the story of the song through my eyes and instruments. So, as the song says, I closed my eyes and envisioned what it would be like.

I hope you would close your eyes too, listen to the lyrics and music, and imagine your person, the one you can see this song was written about, and the moments you’ve shared.
