You Are There

What started, in 2013, as an informal idea between friends Lloyd Pullen and Nathaniel January, has morphed into a closely knit family of friends expressing their love for Christ and people through music and service. 

Though neither of the two gentleman or the eventual band members envisaged what would come of the endeavor, they are adamant that each moment in their short time together has been perfectly crafted by God.Their name, AlmostSunday, was derived on a Saturday evening when someone noticed that it was almost Sunday. The phrase stuck, and the acoustic band has since been well received by audiences and peers who have experienced them in action.

With hearts positioned to serve their King, AlmostSunday strives to be a band that connects beyond their music. Understanding that their gifts are not limited to their musical ability, they aspire to serve God holistically, and to be carriers of His hope and love, by being of service to the various communities that they form part of. To date, their service to the community-at-large has included performing at fundraisers, hosting fundraisers, and community outreach projects.

The group of seven includes: Luwadlin Bosman (percussion instruments); Lloyd Pullen and Geraldo January (acoustic guitars); Lee Davids (bass guitar); and the vocal stylings of Nathaniel January, Mosidinyane Moleko, and Hayley Roman. AlmostSunday performs at special events, church functions, and is also available to lead worship. Their repertoire comprises cover songs, and will soon include original music written and composed by the band's members.AlmostSunday exists for more than just musical creativity. AlmostSunday exists for the creator Himself.
